Basketball Game Preview: Upper Arlington Golden Bears vs. Springboro Panthers

The Upper Arlington Golden Bears will face off against the Springboro Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Upper Arlington comes in on four and Springboro on nine.

Upper Arlington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 54-46 win over Grove City.

Meanwhile, Springboro strolled past Seton with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 41-27. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Saints are ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Upper Arlington's victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for Springboro, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.
