Laurel Hill is 0-10 against Baker since March of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Hoboes will be playing at home against the Gators at 6:00 p.m. Laurel Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Laurel Hill is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Rocky Bayou Christian on Thursday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 9-2.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Baker sidestepped Ponce De Leon for a 6-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gators.

Lacey McCranie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits.

At the plate, Baker got a massive performance out of Zoe Moncada, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Nava, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Baker's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Laurel Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
