Baseball Preview: Lake Norman Wildcats vs. Sun Valley Spartans
The Lake Norman Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Sun Valley Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lake Norman has three straight wins, Sun Valley has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
While Lake Norman's victory against A.L. Brown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Lake Norman had just enough and edged out A.L. Brown 2-1 on Friday.

Lake Norman pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sun Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
