For the second straight game, St. Luke will face off against Rye Country Day. The Storm will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Luke's is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Monday just wasn't the day for St. Luke's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rye Country Day on Monday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Storm's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Rye Country Day's part, not much got past Teddy Cooper, who gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks to keep St. Luke's off the board. Cooper has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Paul Heintz, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Harry Holtman, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

The win was the sixth in a row for Rye Country Day, bringing their record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for St. Luke's, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3 record.
