Volleyball Recap: Holyoke Comes Up Short

Holyoke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Granby Rams, falling 3-0. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Rams when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Holyoke was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 25-19.

Holyoke's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Granby, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Holyoke will face off against West Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Granby, they will head out to challenge Chicopee at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
