Softball Recap: Powdersville Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Powdersville can now relate to. They lost 8-1 to the West-Oak Warriors on Friday. The Patriots were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Warriors' pitcher proved too tough.

Powdersville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilee Lugo, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Lugo has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Powdersville's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for West-Oak, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

As of now, neither Powdersville nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
