Basketball Game Preview: Contra Costa Christian Cougars vs. Valley Christian Vikings

The Contra Costa Christian Cougars will venture away from home to square off against the Valley Christian Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Contra Costa Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Contra Costa Christian earned a 63-55 victory over Emery.

Carson Faber continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Gerrit Johnston was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 17 boards.

Meanwhile, Valley Christian was able to grind out a solid win over California Crosspoint on Monday, taking the game 52-41.

Valley Christian's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13. As for Contra Costa Christian, their record is now 7-10.

Contra Costa Christian came up short against Valley Christian when the teams last played back in January, falling 61-55. Can Contra Costa Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
