Volleyball Recap: Lambert's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sequoyah, Lambert was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Savannah Arts Academy Panthers by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Longhorns as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Savannah Arts Academy still got an impressive performance from Maggie Allen, who had six digs and four aces. Allen is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Lambert's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Savannah Arts Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Lambert wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Davidson Fine Arts on the 16th. As for Savannah Arts Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy on the 16th.
