Central Christian skates past Trinity Christian School of Griffin with ease

Recap: Central Christian Crusaders vs. Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage, the Central Christian Crusaders were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 50-18 victory over Trinity Christian School of Griffin. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Central Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Central Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sarah Passow led the charge by scoring 9 points along with 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. Another player making a difference was Natalie Schneider, who scored 10 points along with 9 steals and 6 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian School of Griffin still got an impressive performance from Molly Massengale, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds. Massengale is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Even though they lost, Trinity Christian School of Griffin were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Christian only pulled down 20.

The win got Central Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Konos Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Trinity Christian School of Griffin won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lafayette Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Lafayette Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
