Basketball Recap: Colon Victorious

The Colon Magi didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Morenci Bulldogs on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 74-70 victory.

The win got Colon back to even at 1-1. As for Morenci, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Colon will square off against St. Philip Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morenci, they will venture away from home to take on Sand Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
