Meanwhile, Itawamba Agricultural's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Ripley. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly two goals.

Kaleb Davis and Aiden Locastro scored all three of Itawamba Agricultural's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Itawamba Agricultural's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five games. As for New Albany, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-1.

New Albany beat Itawamba Agricultural by a goal when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 1-0. Will New Albany repeat their success, or does Itawamba Agricultural have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
