Basketball Recap: Ridgewood Triumphs

Ridgewood's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 77-69 win over the Francis W. Parker Colonels. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ridgewood is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Francis W. Parker, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Ridgewood will be playing at home against Fenton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgewood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Fenton likes a good challenge. As for Francis W. Parker, they will venture away from home to challenge Latin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
