Recap: Lyman Raiders vs. Winner Warriors

If the Lyman Raiders were riding high off their 75-41 takedown of the Stanley County Buffalos on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lyman took a serious blow against Winner on Tuesday, falling 57-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lyman has scored all season.

Shawn Hammerbeck was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds for Winner. Hammerbeck has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Craven, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Lyman now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Winner, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Lyman will head out on the road to face off against Bennett County at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Bennett County is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Winner on the road again on Saturday and play against Howard at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th.
