Cambridge Rindge & Latin had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Sunday. They escaped with a win against the Brockton Boxers by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Boxers are ranked 197th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cambridge Rindge & Latin has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Brockton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cambridge Rindge & Latin will square off against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brockton, they will take on Marshfield at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
