Ithaca waltzed into their match on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They never let the Kickapoo Panthers get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven games by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Ithaca's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Kickapoo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Ithaca will head out to take on La Farge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kickapoo, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against De Soto on the 6th.
