Nutley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Irvington Blue Knights. For the Maroon Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Blue Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Nutley's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Irvington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Nutley will square off against Lyndhurst at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Irvington and Union will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
