Basketball Recap: Fullerton Skates Past San Gorgonio with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fullerton). They breezed past the San Gorgonio Spartans to the tune of 72-31 on Monday. With that victory, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.

Fullerton found their leader in freshman Braxton Wink, who went 9-for-16 en route to 21 points and five boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wink has scored all season. Isaac Garza was another key player, shooting 78% from the field to rack up 15 points.

Fullerton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Fullerton's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for San Gorgonio, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Fullerton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-62 defeat against Warren on the 2nd. As for San Gorgonio, they will take on Loara at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
