While Slidell's win against Chalmette wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Owls 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since March 3rd.

The win made it two in a row for Slidell and bumps their season record up to 8-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Chalmette, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Slidell will square off against Northshore at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chalmette, they will welcome Thomas Jefferson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
