Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Milton

Milton won the last time they faced Janesville Parker and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Hawks walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Hawks.

Landon Schwarz made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

In other pitching news, Ben Schultz looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

Back at the plate, Easton Agnew and Gavin Cole did most of the damage at the plate: Agnew went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Cole went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. Jack Spielmann was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.
