Flag Football Recap: Lily O'connor and Giovanna Lee Pace Resurrection Defense

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Resurrection can now relate to. They took a 13-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loyola Academy Ramblers on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ramblers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-0 last Wednesday.

Resurrection didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lily O'Connor and Giovanna Lee. O'Connor is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as she's now made five or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Resurrection's loss dropped their record down to 11-15-1. As for Loyola Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Resurrection nor Loyola Academy have any future games scheduled.
