Soccer Recap: Providence Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Providence Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats. If Providence Christian Academy were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Battle Ground Academy when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Providence Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Battle Ground Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Providence Christian Academy will challenge rival Columbia Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Battle Ground Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe The Webb School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
