Soccer Game Preview: Johnson vs. Dripping Springs

Johnson is 1-8 against Dripping Springs since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Jaguars will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Johnson didn't have quite enough to beat Bowie and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dripping Springs). They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Johnson on Tuesday.

Dripping Springs hit the Jaguars with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tucker Fuston, Trey Gonczeruk, and August Robichaux.

Johnson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dripping Springs, their win bumped their record up to 2-4-1.

Johnson couldn't quite get it done against Dripping Springs in their previous matchup back in January of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
