 San Marino had to endure  a  seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Alhambra Moors 27-14. San Marino's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Alexandra Hughes was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with six  stolen bases, six  RBI,  and four  runs.  Madison No was another key contributor,  scoring five  runs and  stealing six bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 On Alhambra's side,  Amari Antunez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Alison Rubio, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 San Marino's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-10. As for Alhambra, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Marino will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Temple City at 3:30  p.m.  on April 16th. As for Alhambra, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Eagle Rock at 3:30  p.m.
