Basketball Recap: Rockford East Takes a Loss

Rockford East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Harlem Huskies and fell 69-36. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the E-Rabs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-12 back in January.

Several E-Rabs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Promise Crawford, who posted 13 points. That was a full 36.1% of Rockford East's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Analise Adams, who put up ten points.

Rockford East's record now sits at 2-26. As for Harlem, their victory bumped their record up to 8-20.

Looking ahead, Rockford East will host Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harlem, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-54 win against Belvidere on the 8th.
