Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for O'connor

O'Connor entered their tilt with Liberty on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions, sneaking past 9-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 back in March.

O'Connor got a massive performance out of Sydnee Williams, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Williams has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Keygan Robinson, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

O'Connor hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty struck out 12 times.

O'Connor's record is now 16-7. As for Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12-1 record this season.

O'Connor has already played their next match, a 17-0 win against Shadow Ridge on the 15th. As for Liberty, they will host Mountain View at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Toros have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
