Recap: Galloway Scots vs. Whitefield Academy WolfPack
The Galloway Scots had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 62-56 W over Whitefield Academy on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Galloway's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Levin led the charge by scoring 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaughn Murphy, who scored 17 points.
Galloway's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 2-8. As for Whitefield Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galloway will take on The Weber School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (The Weber School is ranked 393rd, while Galloway is ranked 416th). As for Whitefield Academy, they will be playing at home against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Whitefield Academy likes a good challenge.
