Lunenburg Central came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Cumberland Dukes as they made off with a 15-2 win. That's two games straight that the Chargers have won by exactly 13 runs.

Lunenburg Central pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Cumberland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
