Basketball Recap: Springfield's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Springfield's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They took down Rivendell Academy 61-42. Considering the Cosmos' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Springfield moved to 4-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Rivendell Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Springfield will have a chance to go back-to-back against Rivendell Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
