Basketball Recap: Bible Baptist Comes Up Short

Bible Baptist was the 52-35 winner over Grace Baptist Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 54-53 to Grace Baptist Christian. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one point.

Despite the loss, Bible Baptist still got an impressive performance from Silas Snyder, who went 8-for-19 to rack up 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry McDonald, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 10 points.

Bible Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grace Baptist Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bible Baptist is set to take on their familiar foe City Baptist School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Grace Baptist Christian will square off against rival Hebron Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 8. This will be Grace Baptist Christian's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
