Softball Recap: Palmerton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palmerton can now relate to. They came up short against the Palisades Pirates on Saturday, falling 11-1. The Blue Bombers have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Palmerton now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Palisades, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Palmerton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palisades, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Pen Argyl on the 14th.
