Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carey). They blew past the Castleford Wolves 65-33 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since December 10, 2024.

Leading Carey to victory were Preston Wood and Stockton Sears. Wood almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards, while Sears went 7 for 16 en route to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Aj Black was another key player, putting up ten points.

Carey smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive games.

Carey's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Castleford, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Carey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-34 win against Challis on the 17th. As for Castleford, they and Hansen will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Castleford is facing Hansen at the right time seeing as Hansen is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
