Basketball Recap: Windom Comes Up Short

Windom lost against Marshall back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Windom Eagles were beaten by the Marshall Tigers 81-47. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Windom's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Marshall, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windom will square off against Pipestone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshall, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Marshall Tigers challenge the Mankato East Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marshall knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Mankato East likes a good challenge.
