Football Recap: Concord Piles Up the Points Against Dupont

While Concord put up plenty of points on Saturday, the same can't be said for DuPont. The Raiders took their contest with ease, bagging a 41-0 win over the Tigers. The Raiders' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Concord's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.7 points on average over those games. As for DuPont, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Concord and DuPont will both be playing McKean the next time they take the field. The Raiders will head out to face the Highlanders on Saturday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th.
