Montgomery Academy came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Beauregard Hornets by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Montgomery Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8.

Morgan Springer paced Montgomery Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Springer got some help from Rehmat Sidhu and her 21 assists. Springer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Montgomery Academy's record now sits at 10-1. As for Beauregard, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Montgomery Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Elmore County on the 30th. As for Beauregard, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lee-Scott Academy on the 30th.
