Softball Recap: McCracken County Takes a Loss

McCracken County fell victim to Baldwin County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

McCracken County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-4. As for Baldwin County, their win bumped their record up to 19-12.

When McCracken County and Baldwin County next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Mustangs will try to stop Madisonville-North Hopkins' three-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Baldwin County will challenge Wakulla and their six-game winning streak at 11:00 a.m. on the 19th. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 2.2, the War Eagles 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
