Sand Creek hasn't had much luck against Adrian recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Aggies are taking a road trip to challenge the Maples at 9:00 a.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

While Sand Creek's victory against Lenawee Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Aggies skirted past the Cougars 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Aggies in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won five in a row.

Ivan Wilkinson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.
