Blooming Grove is a perfect 3-0 against Connally since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blooming Grove Lions will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Connally Cadets at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Blooming Grove's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Connally has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Blooming Grove's offense. They fell just short of Hubbard by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Connally lost 18-3 to Midlothian Heritage two weeks ago.

Connally saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aryauna Gooden, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Connally's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Blooming Grove, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Everything went Blooming Grove's way against Connally when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Blooming Grove made off with a 17-0 victory. Will Blooming Grove repeat their success, or does Connally have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
