Volleyball Recap: Overlake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a Battle of the Birds when Overlake duked it out with Cedar Park Christian on Monday. The Owls took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Cedar Park Christian can attribute much of their success to Gianna Greenlaw, who had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Greenlaw has posted over her last ten matches. Grace Engstrom also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Overlake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cedar Park Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-2.

Overlake has already played their next matchup (against Northwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cedar Park Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Granite Falls on the 25th.
