After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prince Edward County, Lunenburg Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Randolph-Henry Statesmen 49-12. The Chargers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lunenburg Central's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for Randolph-Henry, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lunenburg Central will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Nottoway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Randolph-Henry, they will be home for the holidays to greet Prince Edward County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
