Baseball Game Preview: Northwood-Kensett Vikings vs. Central Springs Panthers

Northwood-Kensett is 2-8 against Central Springs since June of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Northwood-Kensett's offense. They lost 14-0 to Newman Catholic on Friday. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, Central Springs came up short against Forest City on Thursday, falling 9-3. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Northwood-Kensett's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Central Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Northwood-Kensett couldn't quite finish off Central Springs in their previous meeting back in June of 2024 and fell 10-8. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
