Basketball Recap: Fairhope Takes a Loss

After flying high against Robertsdale last Tuesday, Fairhope came back down to earth. The Fairhope Pirates were beaten by the Foley Lions 64-36 on Friday. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Fairhope's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Foley, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Daphne the next time they take the court. Foley will head out to face Daphne at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Fairhope will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
