Football Game Preview: South View vs. Westover

South View have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Westover on the road at 6:30 PM on Tuesday. Westover will need to watch out since South View have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

South View were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Douglas Byrd two weeks ago as they made off with a 46-19 victory. No one put up better numbers for South View than junior Matthew Pemberton, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 152 yards and 1 touchdown. One of the most memorable plays of the game was Pemberton's 56-yard touchdown rush in the third quarter.

Three weeks ago, Westover had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 18-10 win over Hoke County. The success made it back-to-back wins for Westover.

Their wins bumped Westover to 2-1 and South View to 4-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Westover and South View clash.
