Castle is a perfect 10-0 against Evansville Reitz since August of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 12:00 p.m. Castle will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Castle was able to grind out a solid win over Evansville Mater Dei, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-21, 19-25, 25-10, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Evansville Reitz didn't have quite enough to beat Heritage Hills on Saturday and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Evansville Reitz sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 17-25, 25-6.

Castle's victory bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Evansville Reitz, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's matchup: Castle has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.6 aces per game. It's a different story for Evansville Reitz, though, as they've been averaging only 2.9 aces. Given Castle's sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.

Castle beat Evansville Reitz 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
