League recap: Holy Name stuns Cleveland Central Catholic in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Holy Name, who took down 359th ranked Cleveland Central Catholic, 22-13.

John F. Kennedy moved up to 268 from 300 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in North Coast - White. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of topping Trinity 36-6.

Trinity's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Iacobucci has thrown for 542 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Darin Snyder has 17 catches for 263 yards. Iacobucci also leads the league in rushing with 335 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when St. Peter Chanel takes on John F. Kennedy. The Firebirds are in fourth place, while the Eagles are in first place.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when St. Peter Chanel takes on John F. Kennedy. Brad Demmerle's team has allowed 185 points this season, while the Eagles have given up 180. The Firebirds allowed 12 points last week as they bested Villa Angela-St. Joseph.

St. Peter Chanel and the Vikings played the most hotly contested game in North Coast - White this week, with St. Peter Chanel eventually emerging with a 18-12 victory.
