Volleyball Recap: Abbotsford Gets the Win

Abbotsford won the last time they faced Wausau East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons came out on top against the Lumberjacks by a score of 2-0.

Celia Schindler paced Abbotsford's offense, picking up six kills. Schindler got some help from Faith Sperl and her 14 assists. Sperl also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Caylee Clement, racking up four apiece.

The victory got Abbotsford back to even at 2-2. As for Wausau East, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Abbotsford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mondovi on the 30th. Hopefully Wausau East paid attention to the Falcons' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
