Basketball Recap: Union Falls Despite Big Games from Kenzy Ogden and Glory Ellis

Union lost against Anderson Prep Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Union Rockets fell 44-32 to the Anderson Prep Academy Jets.

Union's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Glory Ellis, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards, and Kenzy Ogden, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. That was a full 56.3% of Union's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Union and Wes-Del will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Alexandria-Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
