Eagle barely beat Capital the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 20-9 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Jacob Ames looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
