Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Prospect

After losing to Deerfield the last time they met, Prospect decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Warriors 2-1 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since April 22nd.

Their offense was headlined by Brendan Ziegenhorn and Luke Cook, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Ryan Cook and his 30 assists.

The win was the third in a row for Prospect, bringing their record up to 16-5. As for Deerfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Prospect didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Leyden on the 2nd. As for Deerfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Zion-Benton on the 2nd.
