            The LKY Saints will head out on the road to  challenge  the Rock Creek Academy Lions  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. LKY knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Rock Creek Academy likes a good challenge.
Last Monday,  it was close, but  LKY sidestepped Christian Academy-Louisville for  a  61-58 win.

 LKY found their leader in sophomore  Hannah Simmon, who  went 9 for 19  on her way to 29 points. The  contest was  Simmon's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Courtney Simmon, who  posted 14  points and six  boards.
 Meanwhile,  it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose  74-11, which was the final score in Rock Creek Academy's tilt against West Washington on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 390th, while the Senators are ranked 176th).
 LKY's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Rock Creek Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having  lost seven of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record  this season.
