Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cameron Lyons and Isaiah Johnson Lead Atholton to Victory

Atholton won the last time they faced Oakland Mills and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Atholton Raiders came out on top against the Oakland Mills Scorpions by a score of 56-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Leading Atholton to victory were Isaiah Johnson and Cameron Lyons. Johnson posted ten points in addition to seven boards and six steals, while Lyons went 6 of 10 on his way to 18 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Inabinet, who had six points and eight rebounds.

Atholton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Oakland Mills, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Atholton will head out to face off against Wise at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Oakland Mills and Broadneck will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th.
